T.point is an online supermarket that delivers all your groceries to your home for free. In the app you will find exactly the same groceries as in the supermarket, but for the lowest price. The product also allows you to create grocery lists, explore public ones, and plan recurring orders.
The whole concept of this project was quite disruptive since in Brazil at the time, buying your groceries online was still at very early stage. The bechmark was done looking essecially to products in the international market and trying understanding how to adapt to the scenario of brazilian economy , culture and priorities.
Unfortunatelly this product never went live, due to administrative/logistic issues on making it feasible from comercial perspective. But it was a complex, challenging project design wise.
The Search
Straight forward and easy to use, enabling customers to search for products and grocery lists, either created by them or by others. Public grocery lists are essentially helpful if you have no clue on what to buy for a Barbecue or if you want to be inspired to have a healthier life on Summer.
Product Page
The product page, has all information you might need about the product you are interest in buying, from there you can check for description, prices, add it to cart or to a list.
Micro-interactions
Desgin is in the details, micro interactions were carefully crafted to provide a intuitive and intentional use of the product.
The card
The search result card it self holds a whole ecossystem, where you can perform several actions, such as adding to the cart, or to a particular shopping list. Or drag it if tapping is not you thing.
Adding to cart
Few things in life are as satisfying as mimicking real interactions when using digital products. Adding products to your shopping list by dragging makes it as natural as in a groceries store.
The Header
Omnipresent and simple, it gives customers access to essential features wherever they are. From the header they can see notifications, the shopping cart, start a search or open the menu.
